Alberta Backcountry Horsemen
Equestrians preserving and improving access to trails and public lands
Do you know of an equestrian trail, staging area or campsite in Alberta that needs some TLC?
We are actively looking for work bee projects for 2025, where we could collaborate with other user groups, as well as tackle projects of our own. And that's going to take some hard work, networking and community support.
For now, as we continue to build this brand new organization, we want you to understand that we are not quite ready to get boots on the ground or apply for grants quite yet. But we are super excited to do so next year! For the remainder of 2024 we must focus on:

-
potential project information gathering
-
membership building
-
regional chapter creation
-
collaboration and networking with other user groups and community partners
-
and define work bee processes, with safety and governmental compliance top-of-mind.
Got a project to tell us about? Or are you part of another organization that may be willing to partner with us?
Kindly fill in the form below. (If you're not comfortable with online forms, please feel free to email admin@abhorsemen.org)

Thank you for your interest in Alberta Backcountry Horsemen. Happy Trails!
